STEP 1: Once you are signed in, on your manager’s dashboard, click the events button on the left-hand panel. This will direct you to a page where you can view all your organizations events and create new ones.

STEP 2: To add a new event, click on the blue ‘Add New’ button. This will launch the create event page.

STEP 3: The create event page has two options. Firstly select who is hosting the event, either the organization or a specific team. Click on the black arrow (red arrow) to see the drop down list and select your choice (red circle).

Then select the type of event you want to create, Click on the black arrow to pull down the choice list (red arrow), then select the event you are going to create (red circle). Once you are happy with your new choice, click next step to continue (green arrow). 

STEP 4: You are now on the event information page. PlayyOn will prompt you to fill out certain aspects about the event.

To upload a photo for the event, click the blue ‘Upload photo’ button (red arrow).  Note:  You DON'T have to have a photo.... its just an option. 

Select the photo you want from your personal photo’s (red circle), and then click open (red arrow).

If you scroll down, there is also an event description to enter (red circle). When you are happy with all the information entered, click the blue ‘Create’ button (red arrow).

STEP 5: once you clicked ‘Create’, a pop up will appear. In order to set up a registration to collect a fee/payment for your event, you will select the blue ‘Yes’ button.

STEP 6: By clicking ‘Yes’ you enter the registration builder at step 3. Here you will fill out all information pertaining to your event. You can scroll down the page to see all fields. There are three aspects to be aware of.  1- If your event is for under 18 year olds, two forms will be generated, one for the children and one for the adults (red circle). 2- To enter contact information for the event, click the blue ‘Add Contact Option writing. A box will appear to fill out a phone number and email (red arrow).

3- For registration options, depending on how many fee prices you have you have, select the appropriate number. This option is the last field (red circle). PlayyOn explains each field thoroughly so it is easy for you to follow. Once you are happy with the information entered, click the white ‘Next’ box (red arrow).

STEP 7: Setting up prices is very straight forward. Name your option if you have more than one (red circle) and then select the payment method from the list below; 'No Payment', 'One Time Fee, Deposit' + 'Instalments' (red arrow). Once you are happy with the information entered, click the white ‘Next’ box (green arrow).

STEP 8: Chose your payment in a certain currency. Click on the currency box and select your choice (red circle). Then chose how you would like the fee to be paid. You have a choice between cash, cheque, credit card, or other (red arrows). The credit card option will direct you to Stripe to set up an account. Stripe is safe, secure and PlayyOn’s trusted credit card partner. Once you are happy with the information entered, click the white ‘Next’ box (green arrow).

STEP 9: The form is what information you need to gather from your registrants. PlayyOn has made this easy by auto-filling certain fields. Here you can add or remove them easily. On the left hand side, click the blue plus sign on the field you want to add to the form. This will put it in (red circle). 

To remove a field, hover over a field and click on the blue pencil (red arrow). This opens a pop up where you click the white ‘Remove button’ (See second picture). Once you are happy with the information entered, click the white ‘Next’ box (green arrow).

STEP 10: Lastly, you need to send out the registration for the event. You can pick what teams you want to send it out to or if you want to send out to the entire organization (red circle). Alternatively you can send it out manually by typing in particular email addresses (green circle). Other options on this page include previewing the event. You do this by clicking the white ‘Preview’ button (red arrow). Once you are happy with the information entered, click the white ‘Finish’ box (green arrow)

Step 11: There we go! You are finished. You can manage/edit your event right up until it begins. You can manage the event under the events tab on your dashboard (red arrow) and the fees under registrations on your dashboard (green arrow).
