Messaging with PlayyOn is easy!

Our new upgrade allows for more flexibility when you need to communicate with your organization, team, coaches and players.

We now give you many ways to send messages to individuals, group or teams. Any person in your organization who is under 18, will have messages sent to parents first, but also to the children if they have provided an email.

Messaging your entire organization:

Messaging your entire organization is easy. Just click ‘People’ from the side vertical navigation menu. Here you will see all of the people associated with your organization. They are divided up into four groups; Coaches, Team Members, Event Registrants, and Followers. Started with your Team Member check the button that says “Select All”. Toggle to the next group of people, Event Registrants, and hit ‘Select All’, continue these steps if you want to include for Coaches and Followers in your message.

Once you’ve selected everyone you want to message, hit the big blue ‘message button’. A pop up will appear that will allow you to enter your custom message.

Messaging an individual.

From the ‘People” tab, locate the individual you want to message and click the box right next to their name. Next hit the big blue ‘Message’ button. A pop up will appear that will allow you to enter your custom message.

Messaging a Team

Select “teams” from the left-hand side vertical navigation menu. Once your list of teams loads locate the teams you want to message and check the little box next to the team name. You can message more than one team at a time by selecting multiple teams at once. Once you have selected all the teams you want to message hit the big blue ‘Message’ button. A pop up will appear that will allow you to enter your custom message.

PRO TIP! If it is an important alert like practice is cancelled. Then check the “This is an alert box” to send a SMS notification to members who have opted in to texts.

Please let the PlayyOn Team know your thoughts on the new updates. Any suggestions, queries or feedback would be greatly appreciated. Good luck for your sporting endeavors!
